Day 1: Trip to Tokyo, Arrival Day
Welcome to Japan! Upon your arrival in Tokyo, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The day is yours to adjust to the time zone, relax, and get acquainted with the vibrant city. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the area around your hotel, perhaps strolling through a nearby park or enjoying a casual dinner at a local ramen shop. Overnight in Tokyo to rest up for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Tokyo: Asakusa – Ueno – Akihabara
Start your exploration of Tokyo with a visit to Asakusa, home to the iconic Senso-ji Temple, Japan’s oldest Buddhist temple. Wander the Nakamise-dori shopping street leading up to the temple, where you can shop for traditional souvenirs. Next, head to Ueno, where you’ll find Ueno Park, a perfect blend of nature and history, and the Ueno Zoo. You can also explore the Tokyo National Museum for a taste of Japan’s rich cultural heritage. Day 3: Tokyo: Harajuku – Shibuya – Shinjuku

Day 6: Kyoto: History and Ancient Culture

Day 8: Kyoto: The Brilliance of Kinkakuji and the Serenity of Arashiyama

Day 14: From Kanazawa to Tokyo

Day 15: Return Home
